On December 25, 2024, a batch of critical power equipment destined for the "Northern Ethiopia Recovery EP Project" was successfully manufactured and delivered. The core product featured in this delivery is the DKS-7621kVA/33kV transformer model; supplied by a Chinese power equipment manufacturer, these units are designated for use in power infrastructure restoration and upgrade projects across northern Ethiopia.

With a capacity of 7,621 kVA and a voltage rating of 33 kV, this transformer model is a customized product specifically optimized to adapt to the unique characteristics of the local power grid and the natural environment in Ethiopia. Taking into account the practical conditions of the project site—characterized by high altitudes and elevated temperatures—the equipment's R&D and manufacturing processes placed a strong emphasis on enhancing high-altitude adaptability, high-temperature operational resilience, and overload tolerance. This ensures that the equipment can maintain long-term, stable operation under complex working conditions, there by providing a reliable power supply to support the daily lives of local residents as well as industrial and agricultural production.

The "Northern Ethiopia Recovery EP Project" is a vital initiative aimed at improving livelihoods; by repairing and upgrading power 

infrastructure, it seeks to facilitate local post-conflict reconstruction as well as socio-economic development. The transformers delivered on this occasion—serving as core nodal components within the power transmission and distribution network—will directly contribute to the optimization and expansion of the region's electrical grid.

The successful delivery of this equipment demonstrates the technological prowess and project execution capabilities of "Made in China" products within the high-end power equipment sector. It also underscores the pragmatic efforts of my country's power equipment enterprises to actively participate in the "Belt and Road" Initiative and support infrastructure development across Africa.
